I’m with Eddie on this, He needs to put his foot down and say “NO” especially in loud enough terms that Andre’s mother and aunt Sophie can hear it. Yeah, yeah, a fairy tale wedding, how romantic. But you don’t do that without the one groom’s consent, not on the day of the wedding. Don’t play into their game, confront aunt and mother and tell them in no uncertain terms their role in the wedding has ended, that includes Liz, too. If they balk, then leave, call Andre and tell him the wedding is off. It’s a choice between one’s own dignity and the love you have for another person. In this case, I would chose my own dignity. If Eddie caves in on this, mother and aunt will use any excuse to interfere in his and Andre’s lives.
