Honestly, when I started this, I had no idea it was going to go on so long and involve so many characters. I appreciate those of you who stuck it out as I meandered about and let the story unfold as it will. Lighter fare coming next, I promise!

I have enjoyed the journey, if not the subject matter. Sometimes stories go where they will and not in an orderly fashion as some would prefer. Thanks for all you are doing! Dennis
I was entranced by this story, so different from what I've seen here before. The story line is unusual; is any of it based on fact?
Thanks, all. To Birdie: no, not based on fact — at least not to me or anyone I know personally. Instead, this was just turning the situation loose and letting the various characters take it where they wanted to go with it. My original plan was *very* different, much sillier. I'm glad my boys slapped some sense into me before I got too far down that particular road. 🙂
