Canadian Thanksgiving is about a month earlier than the US holiday: as a statutory law, it’s celebrated on the second Monday in October (the 14th, this year). While it shares many of the same ideas as our southern neighbour’s, ours is more in line with a traditional English harvest festival.

But it still involves a lot of cooking…..
