Stop! In the Name of Love! (9)

So yes, in case it isnt obvious by now, we’re doing a little riff on the play Lysistrata, an Attic Greek comedy written by Aristophanes way back around 350BC, give or take a couple of decades. It’s one of those works that’s inspired all manner of things — several plays, a few movies, an opera, even a Broadway musical or two. This isnt the first gay adaptation by any means, but one of the best is Ralf Koenig’s graphic novel of the same name. It’s wonderfully demented and well worth looking around for.

So where are André and Gilles headed to? Hmm………
