Every year around this time, we at Pan Historia (www.panhistoria.com) commemorate the terrible time when the server crashed and took with it hundreds of posts by scores of writers. But, like the phoenix, Pan rose again, and so we throw a virtual parade to honour its staying power.

This year, the parade is being hosted by XTreme Pixels, the graphic novel section, and since the two folks running it are Canadian, we’re making it a truly Canadian event, with “virtual downhill skiing” (where it’s how you look, not how well you perform), 3 on 3 hockey trivia, and a bunch of other events quite unlike anything you’ll see at RPG sites.

So drop by 28 June to 1 July. You can register as a guest and wander the site to your heart’s content. If you’re a writer, consider joining. You will not find a place like it anywhere on the web.
