I’ve agonized for the past few days about whether or not to post this. But now, I think we all need a serious reminder of what’s at stake here. Conservative homophobes getting trolled and candelight vigils are all well and good, but *this*, folks… *this* is why all of this is so damn important, especially now when it seems the entire US is going utterly and completely insane.

Unless we understand how close it can come and work to prevent it, all the vigils and all the trolls and all the SJW memes will be meaningless. It can all be over as quick as that.

This is why we fight. And we cannot stop.
