So every year, my bud Mike Moon publishes a special edition of his long running blog Catgirl Island (which can be found here) in which he talks about the best in comics, sci fi movies, TV, and other forms of cultural “purrfection”. And of course he invites any and all to attend, with a special red carpet walkway (Hey, why not!). So the boys and I are attending, in suitable beach attire — and I highly recommend you do the same. Mike’s blogs are endlessly fascinating and well written in the genre — not to mention a helluva lot of fun.

He generally posts the awards show sometime around late January/early February, so check it out. Sandals and board shorts not required.
