Before there was Doc and Raider, there was François and Raymond, and one of the things I want to explore this year is how these two disparate souls got together in the first place: how a farmboy from Saskatchewan and a promising writer from Québec met that somewhat fateful night in Toronto and what happened as a result. It’s not a storyline with any sort of suspense: after all, we know how it comes out. But as they say, it’s the journey, not the destination, so periodically we’re gonna travel a bit along the scenic drive and see these two from an earlier, somewhat-but-not-really simpler time. I hope you enjoy it.

To keep it simple, I’ll be setting up a separate blog for it, then letting you know as entries there are made. Most of them will probably be one-shots — single- and four-panels, all self-contained. But it should be fun.
