Pan Historia Iron Writer Training!

So tomorrow — Saturday — from 10AM Eastern Time forward, I’ll be writing my little heart out as part of the Pan Historia Iron Writer Championship Tournament. They’re bringing in six former IWs, including myself, for a month-long tourney, and it should be a blast.

The way it works is simple: you’re given a theme, then you have 24 hours to write five variations on that theme — contemporary fiction, historical fiction, non-fiction, and so on. Then you “plate” everything and submit it to the judges. I’ve done it four times now, and it’s exhausting but fun.

It essentially means, of course, no cartoon tomorrow, sorry — unless I just bang out something as a sort of “here’s where we are with this thing”. We’ll see if time allows for that. Otherwise, after tonight, we’ll be on a 24-hour haitus.
