So a gay male couple (and of course it’s always a gay male couple) was assaulted last night in, of all places, the Netherlands — which maybe isnt so surprising, considering their last national election. To show our support, as much as we can, cartoonists worldwide are posting images of couples holding hands, with the hashtag #allemannenhandinhand (all men hand in hand).

Maybe it’s an empty gesture, maybe it’s not — but it’s my small way of saying, “You want a piece of me, kid? You feelin’ lucky?“
