CutOut MacDonald!

You have no doubt heard about the cardboard cut out of Iran’s now-dead Supreme Leader, the Ayatollah Khomeni, and what a sensation it’s become. Well, that begs the question, does it not? Why should Iran have all the fun? Why not a cut-out John A. Macdonald?

Why not, indeed!

Im kinda thinking every country needs its own cut-out hero. Suggestions for yours?

And for those of you who’re not Canadian (and I am so very sorry for you), the images above show: (1) our Prime Minister meeting with some foreign dignitary whose name I forget; (2) Prince William and Princess Kate at the Calgary Stampede; (3) “Voice of Fire” at the National Gallery in Ottawa; (4) the opening of Parliament; and (5) the first contact between English explorer John Cabel and an aboriginal tribe known as Kanadans, somewhere in Newfoundland.
