For those not acquainted with the marvelous series of novels by author Leonard Wibberley, you should run to your local library or eBay auction and look for The Mouse That Roared and The Mouse on the Moon. Set in a fictional European country that, through no fault or desire of its own, becomes a world power, the wonderfully daffy satires of politics and modern life are as relevant today as they were when published back in the late 50s.

So we’re gonna have some fun with Wibberley’s wonderful little characters. I do this with no claim to them, just an adoring fanboy’s love. And I hope I do right by them and their creator.

By the way, there is a film version of both books. Avoid watching until you have had the pleasure of reading the novels.
